Content Preview Does Not Indicate Annotations
In the content tab, the Preview shows content that has been uploaded - but if annotations/edits are made, there is no indication of this from the Preview screen. One must go into the editing/markup menu in order to see comments that have been left. It would be helpful to end-users if they could see a notification similar to "comments have been left on this content" from the Preview screen.

Ability to annotate a PDF without a comment being attached
Our team regularly proofed large (think 200 page) PDFs. We often use annotation features like the strikeout for other team members to make changes, but currently every single strikeout requires an associated comment. I understand the need to have comments with other types of annotations for guidance, but given the intent of a strikeout is pretty clear, could there be a setting to make comments not mandatory for a strikeout?

Disable expiry date notifications for archived assets
Whether at the organisation level or the asset level, there should be a way to disable notifications for asset expiry dates when the asset has been expired.

It would be helpful to provide an option for users or customer organizations to choose whether they want to receive generated reports via email.

Enhanced Task Permissions: contribute once assets or steps are approved but not edit
We need to limit some users in what they can do in a task, like they can add content or complete their steps, but they can't change fields or asset expiry date once the asset has been approved in the task

Limit workflow options based on brief type
Based on a brief type I would like users to have limited options about the available workflows they can select. For example, for a social brief, only a select range of workflows which are relevant to social briefs should appear as options.

Approval should clear when a new version of an asset is uploaded.
When a new version of an asset is uploaded we feel the previous approvals should be invalidated? It would also be really helpful to link the comments and resolutions to a version of an asset for accuracy of the audit trail.

owner
I'm an admin and active CMP uploader - it would be very useful to be able to filter via who uploaded the asset (Owner). This is not a field I can choose for filtering which would really help me with my day to day work and with maintenance of our uploads.

UI Feature - Add New Version button
End-users are often confused and "Add Content" instead of adding a new Version under the Content tab, leading to confusion despite having been trained. One way to make this easier would be to have a "Upload new version" button that is as prominent as "Add Content" under the content tab to help prevent user error.

Multistep Select for CMP Tasks
Multistep Select for CMP Tasks
It would be great if while in a task we had the ability to multi-select for updating step assignments and due dates as opposed to editing each step line by line.

Wiki functionality
For internal marketing teams, it would be really powerful if we could add internal team documentation, brand portal, and other files to a wiki-like portal.
Ideally this sits within the Optimizely ecosystem. CMP already has 'collections' and this would just add the option to add rich-text style pages, extending that existing functionality.

Allow for requestor to submit multiple request items
I'm a CMP admin and would like for request forms to have functionality added so that our stakeholders/requestors are able to request multiple items across 1 request form submission. I've already discussed this with Natalia and Shadab however am adding this for others to provide additional thoughts or upvotes so we're able to prioritize as soon as possible.
Currently when submitting a Creative request, our stakeholders are able to request multiple items as long as it falls under the same multi-select field option - so for example if they're requesting multiple digital asset items. However, if they would like to…

Users with view only should not be able to download assets on a CMP Task
Users with view access can still download assets in task!
Why can a user with view-only access be able to download an asset inside the task. I thought the expected behavior was that you could not download it.3 votes -
Allow more field types to be used for filtering
Allow "Date" type fields to be searchable in the left-hand filter - not just labels, dropdowns, etc.
