  1. In a workflow, it would be useful to have the option to set the status of an approval step in a workflow as Rejected and be able to proceed with the task.

Right now, the only option is to mark the step as approved even when the content in the task would be rejected, which is very confusing.

  2. We can edit, comment (plain text), and track changes in Word docs and other file types in the CMP...but we can't tag other users. This seems like an odd deficiency and it would really help us to be able to call out other users who specifically need to address certain sections of each file. Otherwise, it's very difficult to utilize the functionality of having these files in the first place. The idea is collaboration, and not being able to use tagging to essentially "assign" feedback to the correct user limits the use of this feature.

  3. It would be great for users to be able to customise their view to make Monday the first day of the working week by default (and or the option to hide weekends from the calendar). This would help to avoid accidentally scheduling work on Sundays.

  4. Currently, when a user submits a request, the only available actions are Accept or Decline. This creates a gap in the workflow because there is no way to indicate that a request has been accepted but is still being evaluated or queued for setup.

We need an additional status, such as “Review” or “In Review,” that can be applied after a request is submitted. This status should be visible to both internal users and the requestor, so the requestor understands that their submission is actively being reviewed and has not been ignored.

From an internal workflow perspective, this status would…

  5. Two different ideas for filtering in the DAM
    1. Just field group
    2. Recommended set of filters with the others being hidden (i.e., not having to chage the filters every time

  6. When using the ‘assignee’ filter, it would be nice if we could filter by team entities as well as individual users.

As an example, a lot of our steps are automatically assigned to the ‘Web Team’. This works by anyone in that team completing the step when free. As a result, this means they do not get pulled through into this data, as the team is assigned to the step and not the user.

Ideally, if filtering a team with 'assignee', it would be great if that pulled through the data of everyone in that team's completed steps and/or grouped…

  7. We have a large volume of similar requests being entered into the system. We want ways to make the amount of data entry for each form simpler. Could you prefill from a previous form or copy an existing form as a template for small edits? Can opal anticipate likely form answers based on a users previous submissions? Open to your ideas.

  9. Within the CMP, a colleague moved a task from one campaign to another. When she did that, with absolutely no warning and no way to "undo", it changed ALL of the workflow step due dates. She is now is left with approx 80 steps to manually adjust.

Our requested solution is two fold.
    1. There needs to be an "undo" button in the CMP, period, for most actions.
    2. There needs to be a warning message when massive changes are going to happen because of an action performed.

  11. Client requests the ability to edit existing campaign templates directly, including moving tasks into subcampaigns and reordering tasks within both active campaigns and templates. Currently, this functionality is not available, and users must work around it by editing a campaign and saving it as a new template.

  12. Archiving Assets seems very much an afterthought on the system. Archiving is not logged in the Asset history, and Archiving can be done only from the Asset Library - not within a Workflow/Task.
Archiving doesn't seem to be included in the granular permissions model to lock down who can Archive items and who is not allowed. It's also possible to Archive "anything" regardless of folder/asset permissions.

  13. It would be nice to update prioritization options (showing at the request level) to more than "low" "medium" "high". For example and "urgent" or "hot".

It would be great to be able to update these or add when needed. However I don't think we have the ability to create new priority options (if we do please let me know!)

And for lifecycle progression options - at the request level - currently we have "submitted" "accepted" and "declined". It would be great to have an option for when something isn't "declined" however we're not able to accept because (for example) more…

  14. Its time consuming to have to complete the same fields in the same form from scratch everytime, for recurrent similar tasks.

I want to be able to copy pervious work requests (regardless of status) to be used as a template to avoid duplicating field completion. I can see a "copy" button on WR's until the point they are accepted, then it disappears. I want to be able to do this on any WR regardless of their status.

  15. When it comes to replies, we always have to tag users even if you are replying to a comment from that person. If you reply to someones comment and you dont tag them, they don't even get notified, which is odd as you're replying directly to their comment.

It would be great if this could be updated so that it recognizes the people that were previously tagged, or who you are replying to. It's a bit tedious to always have to tag the same group of people.

We do love the feature to reply to comments from your outlook inbox,…

  16. Filtering workflow 'steps' on an efficiency dashboard so we can omit certain workflow steps from the efficiency dashboard chart.

For example, if I set up a 'step bottlenecks' chart, it would be great to be able to filter by Step (is, not, is one of, is not one of). There are certain steps when spread out among many assignees, they start to clutter the chart.

  17. Idea: Include parent comment context in notification emails.

Email notifications for comment replies currently only display the new reply text and the generic task/asset name. Recipients lack the context of the original parent comment being replied to. Including the parent comment thread in the notification email body would provide necessary reference without forcing the user to log into the platform. You already have the "or you can reply to this email", which we'd like to use - but we can't without more content/context being added about the notification.

  18. Tagging a user in a proofing comment triggers an immediate email alert. If the reviewer immediately edits or updates that comment, the recipient has already received the initial, potentially incomplete notification. Holding or batching these alerts until the reviewer explicitly finishes a session (e.g., by clicking a "Done" button) would prevent premature or outdated notifications.
This is primarily to help folks who check and reply comments via email a lot.

  19. Just like Slack and Teams have integration options with CMP, we'd like Zoom to be an available integration so users can more easily get notifications/task updates in whatever format works best for them. Like this: https://support.optimizely.com/hc/en-us/articles/8184600806029-Integrate-Slack

  20. We are having an issue with important replies to comments being missed because we do not receive notifications unless we're directly tagged (unless you created the original comment). However, ideally, we'd like to be able to receive notifications as long as we've been a part of the comment thread at some point or even as a person with whom the task has been shared. See attached screenshot for how problematic this could be.

Solution 1: add a checkbox/opt-in within CMP notification settings to get notified when someone replies to a comment thread in which you've interacted (commented, been tagged, etc.).
