Customizable User Roles
A client wants to prevent certain users from creating campaigns while allowing them to create/edit tasks. Where the current Collaborator and Collaborator+ roles don't allow this flexibility/customization. Can customizable permissions be a new feature?

Naming Templates - Setting Request
Our admins would like a way to set task naming conventions when creating a task in the CMP. Our idea is to have naming templates based on the campaign chosen, but theoretically this could also work where a naming template is auto-filled based on the needs of each company - a specific task template, workflow template, campaign, etc. could all prompt this.
We need to be able to enforce standardized task names throughout all campaigns, so if a format could populate to remind users what to fill in, that would be ideal. The task name could even be an uneditable…2 votes -
Differentiation of Events between New Task and Copy Task
We are using Webhook handlers to catch New Task events and to auto populate some taxonomy data on Task creation. However, we notice that the Copy Task function on the platform cannot be differentiated from the New Task event currently, but we would need to distinguish between these two events to handle them slightly differently.
Can a new event be created, or an attribute be added to the existing event, to allow us to identify whether a Task is new or a copy of an existing Task?

Once a workflow is created and an existing asset has been added allowing that asset to retain it's meta data instead of replacing it.
At the moment if an existing asset is added to a task where a workflow is already added the fields within that existing asset are blanked and whatever is in the task fields are used. This is regardless of if you toggle not to inherit fields from the task.
We'd like to be able to keep the metadata in the fields of an existing asset and for it to be used at task level when added.

Protect CMP collections with forms
We are currently evaluating how to better leverage CMP collections as a way to share content externally while maintaining visibility and control over user engagement.
At the moment, our main challenge is that although our DAM serves as a central repository for all our content, we are unable to effectively share materials externally in a trackable way. Specifically, we lack visibility into who is downloading assets, as well as access to user data that would allow us to follow up or engage with those individuals. As a result, the DAM is primarily being used for storage rather than as a…

Campaign templates need true post‑creation flexibility for admins
There was a previous idea about editing campaign templates that’s marked as Released — but as a current user, the flexibility still isn’t really there.
Once a template is created, most key settings are effectively locked. Even as an admin and the original template owner, things like sharing and user access are read‑only.
The suggested workaround (create a dummy campaign, change sharing, save as a new template, delete the old one) doesn’t scale and creates unnecessary admin overhead.
Templates are meant to be long‑lived and reusable. As teams and access needs change, admins should be able to edit templates directly,…2 votes -
Select User from pre-defined list when assigning Workflow Step
When a User comes to allocate a step, there is no restriction on who can be allocated from ALL the users on the instance (currently 400+ for us). Whilst we can "pre-allocate" a Step in the Workflow template to a Team (or User) this doesn't have the desired effect of ensuring the User allocates it to the right person in the Team...
What we would like is for the option to restrict allocation of a certain step to a pre-defined list of Users, (or Users within a pre-defined Team) when working through a Task so that ONLY that user got…

Add more content/context to email notifications about comments
Idea: Include parent comment context in notification emails.
Email notifications for comment replies currently only display the new reply text and the generic task/asset name. Recipients lack the context of the original parent comment being replied to. Including the parent comment thread in the notification email body would provide necessary reference without forcing the user to log into the platform. You already have the "or you can reply to this email", which we'd like to use - but we can't without more content/context being added about the notification.

Add "end session" or "done" function to proofing
Tagging a user in a proofing comment triggers an immediate email alert. If the reviewer immediately edits or updates that comment, the recipient has already received the initial, potentially incomplete notification. Holding or batching these alerts until the reviewer explicitly finishes a session (e.g., by clicking a "Done" button) would prevent premature or outdated notifications.
This is primarily to help folks who check and reply comments via email a lot.2 votes -
Add Zoom Integration for Notifications
Just like Slack and Teams have integration options with CMP, we'd like Zoom to be an available integration so users can more easily get notifications/task updates in whatever format works best for them. Like this: https://support.optimizely.com/hc/en-us/articles/8184600806029-Integrate-Slack

Add notifications opt-in for comment replies
We are having an issue with important replies to comments being missed because we do not receive notifications unless we're directly tagged (unless you created the original comment). However, ideally, we'd like to be able to receive notifications as long as we've been a part of the comment thread at some point or even as a person with whom the task has been shared. See attached screenshot for how problematic this could be.
Solution 1: add a checkbox/opt-in within CMP notification settings to get notified when someone replies to a comment thread in which you've interacted (commented, been tagged, etc.).

Add notification setting for replies to comments in Content in CMP
Hi! We are encountering an issue related to notifications. See example screenshot for reference, but in short, people who are present on comment threads do not get notifications if they are not tagged (unless they started the comment chain). We've checked settings and there is not an option to select to always receive notifications about comments/replies for chains on which you're mentioned.
So our request is that there be a notifications setting that allows people to opt in to receiving notifications in comment threads they've been mentioned on, even when a reply doesn't specifically tag them.
Additionally, we'd like to…

Set structured content as Related Assets in the DAM
Currently, only Article, Image, Video, Raw file can be added in the "Related Assets" section of assets in the DAM.
We would need to have the structured content to be added to the allowed file types in that section.

Add step assignees and step due dates to Plan > Board view CSV export
We're looking for a CSV export that contains the following information:
campaign name, task name, step name, step assignee, step due date.In Plan > Board view, each card shows you all that information, but the CSV export of that view doesn't contain step assignee or step due date.
We'd like the CSV functionality to be enhanced to include step assignee and step due date which will help us with content ops reporting.

Add ability to tag in Microsoft files
We can edit, comment (plain text), and track changes in Word docs and other file types in the CMP...but we can't tag other users. This seems like an odd deficiency and it would really help us to be able to call out other users who specifically need to address certain sections of each file. Otherwise, it's very difficult to utilize the functionality of having these files in the first place. The idea is collaboration, and not being able to use tagging to essentially "assign" feedback to the correct user limits the use of this feature.

Tab/Section For Final Campaign Results
We need to configure a centralized Post-Campaign Results section within our campaign workflows to standardize how we report on performance. More specifically, we require custom fields or a dedicated analytical format that allows team members to input final data points such as overall social engagement metrics, webinar attendee/conversion stats, paid digital performance, and total leads generated. The goal is to move away from spreadsheets and move into Optimizely to ensure that every completed campaign has a structured, searchable record of its impact directly within the platform for future benchmarking.

Asset Owner from WRQ to TSK
When converting a WRQ into a TSK, the system believes the TSK creator uploaded the file and assigns that person as the asset owner, instead of the creator of the WRQ. This ownership carries through to the library, making notifications and reporting difficult. Please have the TSK inherit the WRQ uploader as the asset owner.

Link Events to multiple campaigns like tasks
Currently, we can link a task to multiple campaigns, but we cannot do the same for an event. Multiple teams coordinate on a single event, and need to track against the date of the event and show it in reporting for their specific programs. Request is to add "linking" to the related feature for Events like have been done for Tasks.

Add task information to work request reporting
Add reference to the WRQ number if a task was created from it:
Customer reports the lack of visibility between Tasks and Work Requests, as well as the inability to see who completed each Task in the reports.
This is a critical requirement for DHL Group and DHL Express.1 vote -
Asset File Size Requirement Checker
On the form upload, some customers need a file size that is large enough to be meaningful for their design requirements (headshot for organization page)
Often users upload low resolution images and that causes more back and forth. If we can have a size requirement on the upload that would help resolve that.
