  1. Implement an automatic duplicate record detection feature that checks for existing records based on key fields before a new record is created. If a potential duplicate is found, PACE should alert the user and provide an option to review the existing record before proceeding

  2. Currently, there is not enough granularity within the roles matrix to create practical Admin roles for management of sub-sets of CMP capability. For example, it's not possible to allow for a role just to create and edit Workflows, without allowing access to a lot of other system configuration settings which are not desirable to expose. The same goes for Fields admin and other capabilities, including the new "Read-Only" override which is allowed for every Admin on the system.

Please can the granularity of control over Admin permissions be reviewed to allow for more specialist platform management roles to be created,…

  3. I would like to see the process used to generate thumbnails to be improved to support larger file sizes. At present, it can take minutes for a thumbnail to generate if the file size exceeds 400MB. Sometimes not loading at all. This length of time needed creates a serious bottleneck in our work flows as our teams will not be able to select imagery for marketing collateral with efficiency and ease.

Unfortunately, large tifs (300mb+) is standard in our work as the photoshop layers must be maintained so that corrections can be easily completed when necessary. Maintaining what is called…

  4. While tagging newly created campaign to a parent the 'Inherit permission from parent campaign' box is automatically ticked. The less fluent user overlooks it and then is not able to manage their CPN access level - remove user or manage the view/comment/edit rights (Share). This 'Inherit permission from parent campaign' box should be unticked from default so the campaign creator has more flexibility in sharing it with users they need.

  5. While tagging parent campaign the new created campaign record inherits the permissions from default - the option is automatically ticked and for less proficient user may be easily overlooked. Then in the child CPN its owner cannot manage the user permissions (remove user or manage view/edit/comment rights). The 'Inherit permission from parent campaign' should not be ticked from default to let the owner (creator) decide on the permissions themselves.

  7. We often tag our subject-matter experts, industry partners or events in our brand's LinkedIn posts. Without the ability to do this tagging within CMP, it diminishes the value of scheduling/posting content through the platform.

  8. I think we should update the status and/or filter options to reflect a couple of different layers:

    • Overall task status
    • Step status

In addition the status options for overall task status should be a bit more descriptive (I think I suggested this a while back but can't find the suggestion so apologies for duplicating feedback) For example "in progress - overdue task" and so on.

It's misleading when I have "in progress" and "overdue" selected and the results show tasks that are overdue but have not begun (so they're not "in progress" - see below/attached for an example.

  9. After searching for assets in the Library, the “Add/Upload” button grays out on the search results page. It would be more efficient to upload on the same page rather than exiting out of search.

  11. Current Limitation: When a user uploads a replacement image with the same file name or identifier, Optimizely creates a new, separate asset rather than replacing the existing one. While version control exists for individual assets, there is no bulk version-replacement workflow.
Use Case: In industries like retail, manufacturing, and consumer goods, suppliers regularly update product packaging while keeping the same SKU and naming convention. When these updated images need to be loaded into the DAM, the platform creates duplicate assets instead of recognizing them as replacements. Users are then forced to manually identify and delete the old versions — a…

  12. Current Limitation: When uploading assets to the DAM, users must manually add and populate metadata fields after the upload is complete. There is no ability to pre-configure or auto-attach specific fields during the upload process, and required fields cannot be scoped to specific folders or asset types — they apply globally or not at all.
Use Case: Many organizations rely on specific metadata fields to drive downstream integrations (e.g., web publishing, POS delivery, SFTP triggers). During mass uploads, users frequently forget to attach these fields or spend significant time manually adding them post-upload. This creates incomplete metadata, delays integration workflows,…

  13. Current Limitation: The DAM UI caps upload at 200 assets per session.
Use Case: Teams that manage high-volume asset libraries — such as retail, eCommerce, or manufacturing — regularly need to upload thousands of images at a time (e.g., new vendor catalogues, seasonal refreshes, or platform migrations). At 200 assets per session, uploading large batches becomes a time-consuming, repetitive process with limited progress visibility. The current workaround of using SFTP or API-based ingestion requires technical resources and additional configuration, making it inaccessible to everyday business users.
Requested Enhancement: Increase the UI upload limit to at least 1,000 assets per session,…

  14. 1) Current Limitation: The DAM/CMP Library UI restricts bulk metadata edits to a maximum of 100 assets at a time. There is also no native way to update metadata on existing assets via bulk update either through file-based import using unique asset identifiers or the UI.
Use Case: Organizations managing large catalogues (100K+ assets) need to update metadata across thousands of assets for integration triggers, seasonal updates, data corrections, or onboarding. The 100-asset cap forces repetitive manual cycles, causing UI lag, rework, and human error. Many teams also maintain metadata externally and need a way to push updates back into…

  15. We need the system to better support user holidays. When a user is out of office for an extended period of time, we need to be able to assign the user's Tasks in progress to other members of the Team in a quick and efficient way. Currently, this process is extremely manual, involves multiple clicks to re-assign each individual task, and needs to be manually un-done once the person returns.

Adding holiday within the CMP account setting should prompt the User to set a delegate which would re-assign all items in progress to that person which were due to fall…

  16. When Users are deleted from the platform on leaving the team (or business), all Assets, Tasks and Campaigns are orphaned, and there is no way to bulk view or assign them - you have to go into each one individually and re-assign it.
As there is no ability for Assets, Tasks or Campaigns to be owned by Teams and not individuals, and we have certain Users who own thousands of Assets, this is a potential massive headache in the event this user leaves, or changes roles.

Please introduce better tools for re-assigning ownership of items as opposed to everything having…

  17. Our users are seeing increasingly frequent advertising pop-up in application for Opal-related features/events and other stuff we are not subscribed to use.

Please add a global setting within the platform (and other Opti products!!) which allows us to hide these non-critical, "up-selling" notifications from our users, as they cause confusion around what capabilities are available within the core platform to which we are subscribed.

  18. Can Optimizely disable requestors’ ability to edit the “Priority” field present in all intake forms? It is impacting our ability to accurately assess the pipeline, as some jobs have their priority level heightened by the requester simply to speed them up.

  19. Currently we are unable to configure the settings for TinyMCE in Visual Builder. This means that all elements only allow a full rich text which isn't required in the majority of use cases.

We should be able to configure this in the same way as we do blocks and fields.

  20. THE PROBLEM
Customer content team is publishing 10–20 blog posts per week as part of a large-scale SEO initiative. Their workflow involves pulling images from stock sources (e.g. Getty), uploading directly to the DAM, and passing them to development. They are not designers, and requiring them to manually resize or optimize images in tools like Figma before upload creates friction and slows publishing velocity. The current workaround is to have UX designers optimize every image before handoff — which has become a recognized bottleneck.
Beyond workflow, there is a real page performance concern. Technical contact confirmed that current page load…
