Duplicate a step (including substeps) in a Workflow
Duplicate a step (including substeps) in a Workflow. When I need to add another review, it would be nice to copy the previous review step with all of its substeps in the existing Workflow.

Set up recurring tasks once that creates separate tasks based on the frequency
We have weekly, monthly, annual and bi-weekly tasks that need set up. Currently, I have to set up 52 tasks per weekly task, etc. It would be nice to set up one weekly task with a start date/end date and frequency so that Optimizely creates separate tasks for said frequency instead of manually creating separate tasks.

Paste Screenshot in Comment
Can we make it possible to paste screenshots or images in the comment itself without having to add it to an attachment? It would be really helpful for our web team if we could easily show where we need fixes without having to upload an image that might get saved to the DAM.

Add a “Requests by Assignee” view to dashboards
Add a “Requests by Assignee” view to dashboards, showing who is assigned or approving each request, rather than who raised it. This helps track ownership and progress more effectively.

Enable editing of key fields directly within the Plan module, including fields such as Depends On, Status, and Cur
Currently, these fields cannot be edited inline and require opening each individual item. This slows down workflow management and makes bulk updates or quick adjustments inefficient. Allowing inline editing would improve usability, speed up resourcing and timeline changes, and reduce administrative effort when managing multiple tasks.

Proposal to Update Default Watcher Assignment in Workflows
Current Challenge:
The current workflow automatically assigns all participants as watchers on every task. This approach results in excessive and often irrelevant notifications, creating unnecessary noise and reducing overall efficiency.
Proposed Change:
Update the default behavior so that no watchers are automatically assigned to tasks. Instead, individuals can opt in by adding themselves as watchers for tasks they wish to monitor.
Result:
Reduce notification overload for team members.
Improve focus by ensuring only relevant updates are received.
Empower users to control their level of engagement with specific tasks.6 votes -
Ability to copy a work request as a template (regardless of status)
Its time consuming to have to complete the same fields in the same form from scratch everytime, for recurrent similar tasks.
I want to be able to copy pervious work requests (regardless of status) to be used as a template to avoid duplicating field completion. I can see a "copy" button on WR's until the point they are accepted, then it disappears. I want to be able to do this on any WR regardless of their status.

Make it possible to save different pieces of content in the same task to unique DAM locations.
We often add design elements to a task that will result in a new piece of content being created. The design elements should be located in a separate folder in the DAM from the finished asset. For example, two headshots will be added to a final graphic. The headshots have a unique location in the DAM, and the final graphic has a unique location. Right now, it is a one size fits all strategy. Within a task, all content is saved to the same folder in the DAM. Can it be made possible to save content in the same task…

CMP: Multiple Assignees for Tasks
Allow more than one person to be assigned to a task (currently limited to 1 person or 1 team). This flexibility, already available in Requests, would help manage collaborative work more effectively.

Automated Assignee for Time Off
Allow automatic reassignment of tasks when a user logs time off, so assignees are temporarily replaced and work continues without manual updates.

Add a save drafts / auto-save feature
Add a save drafts / auto-save feature in the Request module and comment fields, so users don’t lose updates or notes if they can’t complete them in one go. Currently, auto-refreshes can cause comments to disappear, so this would prevent data loss.

List View
I prefer the "list view" when i'm in "attachments" or viewing the content tab. would sure like a way for my "List view" preference to stick instead of changing to the the "tile view" every time i toggle in and out of the workflow.

Ability to make repetitive form submissions more efficient
We have a large volume of similar requests being entered into the system. We want ways to make the amount of data entry for each form simpler. Could you prefill from a previous form or copy an existing form as a template for small edits? Can opal anticipate likely form answers based on a users previous submissions? Open to your ideas.

Ability to Edit and Reorganize Tasks in Campaign Templates
Client requests the ability to edit existing campaign templates directly, including moving tasks into subcampaigns and reordering tasks within both active campaigns and templates. Currently, this functionality is not available, and users must work around it by editing a campaign and saving it as a new template.

Logic in Content Brief/Form Brief
At this time, it appears that the behavior that the client is trying to achieve is not currently supported. Specifically, the logic options for multi-select fields do not include conditions such as “contains” or “does not contain.” Because of this limitation, the workflow jump logic may not trigger as expected when users select multiple publishing locations in different orders.

New prioritization and lifecycle progression options - Request level
It would be nice to update prioritization options (showing at the request level) to more than "low" "medium" "high". For example and "urgent" or "hot".
It would be great to be able to update these or add when needed. However I don't think we have the ability to create new priority options (if we do please let me know!)
And for lifecycle progression options - at the request level - currently we have "submitted" "accepted" and "declined". It would be great to have an option for when something isn't "declined" however we're not able to accept because (for example) more…

CMP Fails to Preview Outlook Files in Task Content Tab
"The CMP seems to mishandle Outlook files. When uploading them to a task, you cannot review them in the Content tab preview area. When downloading them, Outlook appears unable to open the files. Is this intended? Is a fix for .msg files in development?"
"The email attached is what was uploaded to the Request form. The user did change the name of the file after uploading.
When uploading a file to a request form, you have the option to change the title. When changing the title it removes the file extension. This doesn't happen for other file types. "

Add Scroll Bar to Top Across UI
A scroll bar at the top of all pages in the UI would be extremely helpful. We recently submitted a ticket, 1803945, because columns were hidden but it was not clearly noticeable. To view the restore button in the recycle bin, it required scrolling 5x to the bottom of the page, then scrolling right. An example for the DAM is when needing multiple columns to view metadata. When viewing a large volume of assets, you have to scroll to the bottom of the page and then scroll to the right, then scroll back up to view metadata. It is time…
