    Problem: Neither the "Product Kit Section Options" widget nor the "Product Bundle Section Options" widget displays the actual quantities of the product components of the kit/bundle - This is not a good customer facing experience. Leveraging Rich Text for Fixed Configuration may be a workaround, however it is not suited for Standard Configuration.

    Solution: Add the set QTY beside each kit/bundle component in both widgets

  2. See Optimizely Ticket #1713060

    Problem: only a product with a deactivation date will ensure end-customer cannot add it to their cart via re-order functionality or saved lists. Our business have multiple websites (1 per country) and often a product that active in more than 1 country ends up being removed from country A, yet still published in country B.

    Solution: have the product category assignment the source of truth. If a product is not published in at least 1 product category in site A, then it cannot be ordered or re-ordered in site A.

    If we were to change this behavior in the future we would be sure to approach in as much of a non-breaking way as possible to prevent issues from customers who currently choose to take orders for non-categorized products.

  3. We need the Optimizely platform to support the following HTTP security response headers:

    -Permissions-Policy

    -Content-Security-Policy

    These headers are essential for instructing browsers on how to handle website content securely. They enhance overall security by enforcing specific rules, such as preventing cross-site scripting (XSS) and clickjacking attacks.

    Our cybersecurity provider is now requiring that these policies be implemented on all public-facing web servers. As such, support for these headers is a critical requirement moving forward.

    Please advise on the platform’s capability to support and configure these headers.

  4. As a marketer on Hero Tools, I would like to publish a marketing list with discounted products to several markets.

    Currently, the list "Name", "Shared By" and "Description" fields cannot be translated. This means a list of discounted products for the Norwegian and Swedish market would need to be two different lists or in English.

    Expected behaviour: List name, shared by and description fields should be translatable.

  5. As a marketer on Hero Tools, I want to add campaign lists to show for all customers.

    Currently, you have to assign all customer(s) to a list in order for it to show.

    I have thousands of customers, and if I want the list to show for all of them, I have to assign them all to the list.

    If no customer is assigned, the list should be shown to all customers.

    I understand the current concern being that it can be too difficult to maintain the customers assigned especially when 'all' customers should be assigned and encourage others to vote and support improvements to this feature.


    Importing Customers is another means currently available which can be used today in situations where there are a large number of customers to assign to a various list:

    1. Navigate to Marketing -> Lists
    2. Click on "import" icon (located on the upper right near the edit options)
    3. Change dropdown from "Lists" to "Customers"
    4. Leverage the "Download Template" to populate and import the desired customers.
  6. As a marketing user on Hero Tools, I would like to expose the next month's campaign products as a "Marketing List" for all customers. I want the list to show the first day in the month, and be available for the whole month.

    Right now; I have to create the list at the right time at the start of the month, I cannot publish it the week before the start of the new month, and if I forget to delete it at the end, it will still show the following month.

  7. When trying to edit content in the Spire CMS with a white (or other light) font, the white background makes it difficult if not impossible to see the content without doing something like highlighting the text itself.

    It would be extremely helpful in these situations to have either the background of the content entry field to match the selected background color of the widget/page, or have the ability to switch to a dark or other color for the field entry area.

  8. Current Behavior:
    When importing users into the Admin Console, if an email address already exists for a user but they have not activated their account, the system does not send an activation email, even when “Send activation email” and “Update existing records” are selected. This occurs silently, without any warning, error message, or visual indication that the email was skipped.

    Proposed Enhancement:
    Introduce a warning during import validation such as:

    “Activation email not sent — user already exists in the system.”

    This behavior would mirror how the system already flags issues like invalid customer numbers, which generate helpful error messages…

  9. Website Users>Details show GUID in 'Approver' field, however, export of users correctly shows ID/name of the 'Approver'. As an administrator of user accounts, I need ability to see 'Approver' ID/Name on the user Details page, instead of requiring export of all users to view the identity of the Approver.

  10. We are configuring Product Restrictions on a new site and found that Order Status and Order History detail pages do not show product images if the product is restricted. This leaves a block of white space on line items and it looks incomplete to the user.
    We would like to override this behavior, or have an Admin Console setting option to do so.

  11. Need the ability to translate non-product pages in the CMS - pages like about-us, contact-us, etc.

    Most translation providers can handle HTML, so something like pipelining the save event in the CMS or the ability to export a single page and it's content.

  12. The current PIM import process automatically strips trailing space characters from all fields before validating the import. This causes frustrating behavior when a category is named (accidentally or otherwise) with a trailing space character in it.

    The import validation strips the space characters from the file, which causes the import to fail with the "Category Name not found" error. The PIM admin then has no good way of identifying that the trailing space character is what is causing the issue since the error does not specify which category is the one not found.

  13. There are no way to export all product description in bulk from Optimizely PIM. I want to be able to export the descriptions for both the main language and the translated languages.
    When I export only one product at a time it works. But having thousands of products in multiple languages is not sustainable. I want to be able to export all product descriptions in bulk.

    Also, the product description gets exported in "code format", meaning the symbols like "<p>" gets embedded in the text. It would be very good if the descriptions could be exported in a clean format…

  15. We have a requirement on our project that requires us to change the behavior of the search indexing v2. In trying to do so, our development team ran into an issue where the class we needed to extend was not extensible (internal, sealed, or non overrideable methods).

    Basically what we are trying to do is remove the condition that excludes child products when fetching indexable products that is in line 896 of class Insite.Search.Shared.DocumentTypes.Product.Index.SearchV2.Models.Product (this is in version 5.2.2412.1705)

  16. In the Classic CMS, we were able to see a warning or indication style on widgets that did not have content in the current language. However, in Spire CMS, this visual indicator does not seem to be available.

    We would like a way to clearly identify in Spire CMS which widgets have been localized to the current language and which have not, similar to the warning indication available in Classic CMS.

  18. Current Behavior: In Optimizely, products are currently assigned only to the most specific (end-node) category within a 3-level taxonomy.
    For example, if the category tree is:

    Power Tools > Drills > Cordless Drills

    Then a product like a cordless drill is assigned only to the "Cordless Drills" category, and not to "Drills" or "Power Tools".

    Problem: This structure causes significant limitations when using the rule engine—specifically the “Product In Category” rule. Since products are not assigned to higher-level categories, those categories cannot be used effectively in rules.

I want to be able to create a custom role for the admin console users that while given limited permissions through the Application Dictionnary would also be granted the ability to impersonate website users. Currently, the impersonate feature is limited to 4 roles: ISCSystem, ISCImplementer, ISCAdmin, ISCUser. Being able to customize the CanCurrentUserImpersonateAnotherUser method used by the AccountController would give more flexibility.
