Allow ancestor/children links in Content Areas in Content Graph
I am looking to get the parent/children of a content item that is used within a Content Area to support a hierarchical relationship. Currently, it is not possible to use the _link property on Content Areas within Content Graph.
In this query:
query MyQuery { MyPage(where:{ContentLink:{Id:{eq: 1119}}}) { item { ContentLink { Id } _link(type: ANCESTORS) { MyParentPage { items { Url } } } } } MyBlock(where:{ContentLink:{Id: {eq:1127}}}) { items { Cards { ContentLink { Id Expanded { _link(type: ANCESTORS) { MyParentPage { items { Url } } } } } } } } }In the first query,…

Move ADE envs during migrations to CMS 12
Customers who upgrade CMS versions using Self service (11->12) tooling lose access to ADEs unless they specifically request them to be re-provisioned. They should be moved over as part of the migration process. As a standard all provisioned environments including ADE's should be spun up when a migration is completed.

Redirect page after expiration
It would be great if it is possible te set a redirection (just like in the no-found handler) when a page is expired and is replaced by another page in the website. This would make the process much more user-friendly.

Ability to rename PaaS Instances to align with customer use cases
Currently when Applications are provisioned, the application name is auto generated and not changeable. This makes it hard in the long term to align support tickets which align to a specific customer site/application, which delays support and contributes to errors. Creating the ability for these names to be changed will improve support and reduce confusion.

Need to get pinned regularly used pages in cms
There is lot of sites and pages in Optimizely CMS and content editors feel that it would be easier if they could get pinned pages they are frequently editing. Now it requires to open levels and scroll before getting the correct page if search finds many pages.

Option to exclude properties from translation in Language Manager
As an editor using the Language Manager add-on to translate from one master language to another, I'd like to select individual properties to EXCLUDE from translation. Certain properties (e.g. URL, title etc) may contain key terms, names etc that should not be translated.
Note: This is slightly different from another feedback idea;
https://feedback.optimizely.com/forums/966081-cms-paas-content-management-system/suggestions/49891608-language-manager-won-t-let-you-exclude-terms-tranthough both these ideas would solve the same core problem.

Database timeout during site starting up after removing properties of block type
I am a senior developer. We have been facing this issue where when we remove properties of block type the site fails to start and throws database timeout during ModelSyncInitialization. This happens even when a single property of block type is removed.
We have an open ticket with support and have tried a few solutions but the only option that works is to increase the DatabaseQueryTimeout to an hour or so.3 votes -
Language Manager Role wise access
In the Languages gadget (Language Manager add-on), users have the option to duplicate content when creating a new language branch. During this process, the “Duplicate content” dialog presents checkboxes for:
Add all children
Add related content(s)
These options are useful for administrators but pose a risk when used by editors who may not fully understand the implications. For example, an editor in our organization mistakenly duplicated a section with over 800 nodes, resulting in around 500 duplicated blocks. This caused significant manual cleanup and unnecessary content clutter.
Feature Request:
We would like the ability to restrict visibility or access to…

Customize the "Workflow status" Section in CMS UI Dashboard (v12.18.0+)
CMS UI version 12.18.0 introduced a new dashboard with a "Workflow status" section. This section can display thousands of pages in some environments, each with multiple elements. This can result in a bloated and less usable interface, potentially affecting performance and user experience.
We would like to request the ability to:
Clear or limit the number of items displayed in the "Workflow status" section
Filter the displayed items based on specific criteria (e.g., content type, date, language, or user)
Customize or replace the section with a custom implementation if needed
Providing more control or configuration options for this section would…

'Stop words' feature in Optimizely Graph
We need to stop few words from search or indexing. For example, in case of search term 'having a baby' also brings results with 'a' which does not make sense. We are looking for a similar feature like 'synonyms'. We have been advised in the ticket reference 1748761 (https://support.optimizely.com/hc/en-us/requests/1748761) to raise a feature request to bring this feature back as its currently deprecated. We are from Publicis Sapient and working for St Luke's digital transformation project.
The below document does not have enough details in the API call with PUT method. Also it says the feature is deprecated.

Is there any way to identify the user who changed the access rights?
Is there a way to track or identify the user who modified the access rights in Episerver/CMS? It appears that someone has changed the access permissions using the 'Set Access Rights' feature.
We need to determine who made these changes to ensure proper access control and prevent unauthorized modifications. Is there any audit log, system event tracking, or CMS activity history that can help us trace the user responsible for this action? Any insights or recommendations on how to retrieve this information would be greatly appreciated.4 votes -
Retain versions correctly for a content move in CMS tree (to fix invalid editor history
As a content editor I want to be able to move content (for example a page in the CMS tree. When I do this at present a new version is created but this is merged with the previous update for that content. I want a new version to be created and the old version to be retained in order that the true date/time and editor of any changes is visible from the version history.
For example:
* Editor A creates and publishes a page on 1 Sept 2024
* Editor B updates and publishes the same page on 15 Oct…7 votes -
Granular Access Rights for CMS Settings Area
In the Settings area anyone with the "CMSAdmin" or "Content Admins" has access to the full rights to edit anything in here.
We should be able to set granular rights to these function areas for example if I want a specific user group to be able to make updates to Content Types but not Manage Website and Access Right this should be possible3 votes -

Auto-translate
I use Auto-Transalte a lot but I don't want the Name, URL and Reference to be translated automatically.
When handling multiple language websites it is practical to keep the Name, URL & Reference in English.
The URL I can change manually if necessary

Feedback on UI Layout in Optimizely 12 Edit Mode
In Optimizely 12 I have noticed a significant change in the Edit Mode UI layout that I would like to share as feedback.
In Optimizely 11, the Edit Mode UI was more compact, providing editors with a more efficient workspace and minimizing empty space. However, in Optimizely 12, the Edit Mode layout includes a considerable amount of empty space, reducing the effective workspace for editors. This change is affecting the user experience, especially for those who were accustomed to the more compact design in Optimizely 11.This was one of the feedback points we received from our editors.
