When Remember Me/Keep Me Signed In is enabled for the website, and the user selects the Remember Me/Keep Me Signed In option when signing into the Website, there is nothing that forces them to sign in again if their role has been changed. They can return to the website based on their cookies, even though their role has now been changed (example: from Buyer3 to Buyer1). As a result, they can place an order without approval.

    Please implement a function to force website users to sign in again when their role has been changed.

    Would there be a goal to encourage users to shop their MyLists or have selection of recommended products for example or would the desire be to simply disable the ability to checkout with appropriate messaging as to the rule that needs to be met to continue?

  4. When using real time pricing we are locked into one list / msrp price. when a user changes to an alternate UOM the sale price will change but the List price remains static and no longer matches what the user is buying.

    We would want to have the 'msrp' calculations reviewed, as well as the connecting out of the box property being used or if there are customizations affecting this display.

  5. Optimize Wishlist Updates: Refresh Line Item Only, Not Entire Page.

    Current Behavior (for customers using live inventory and price via API):
    In Configured Commerce, when a user updates a product within a list or quote (e.g., changing quantity or removing an item), the entire list page refreshes. This results in longer load times and a less efficient experience, particularly for large lists.

    Thank you for submitting this request! Currently in order to handle the complexity of keeping the data consistency between the My List Details and My Lists Page(s) across the wide customer base we require resetting the state after updates on the line item(s) within Lists.


    While we do not have any changes planned to alter this behavior on base please feel free to continue sharing feedback and impact.

  6. Provide the ability to group items in a My List. For example, if a user is creating a My List to capture all the materials used to install bathrooms in a house they could group them by Master Bath, Half Bath, Guest Bath. If there are groups and a product isn't assigned to one, have a default category or "Other"

  7. We are trying to leverage and promote the barcode label printing feature of My Lists. According to the documentation and print dialog select, we should print labels on the 1" x 3" 2 Column Avery 94224 labels.

    We have two problems with this.
    1. Those labels are hard to come by. They are not stocked in Staples nor are they easy to find on the Avery website.

    1. When printing multiple pages of labels, the print creeps off the label starting on page two. This seems to be an issue with the label. Same behavior happens when printing the labels from…

    At WeSupplyTrades, we rely heavily on Optimizely’s promotion functionality to deliver flexible and customer-centric offers. While the system is powerful, we’ve identified a few areas where usability and efficiency could be significantly improved, particularly in promotion creation and rule management.

  9. Our customers want to receive their order confirmations as a PDF attachment. Many still want to print them, attach a digital copy to their ERP, or save a digital copy. PDF's make this much easier.

    Many won't order online since they don't like the order confirmations. Others require us to manually send a PDF version out of our ERP after they have placed their order.

  10. For demonstration please visit our Support Sandbox website https://support.commerce.insitesandbox.com/ . Searching for the term of pasco lighter (without quotation marks) or "pasco lighter" (with quotation marks) will return the same set of results.

    Comfigured Commerce is only capable of searching for individual word separately. Customer has requested to implement the feature to search (exact match) for a term made of multiple words (like Google).

  11. We would like to request an enhancement to the Customer Selection pop-up within the Admin Console—specifically when assigning customers to users. This is for the Configured Commerce product.

    Current Behavior:
    Currently, the Customer Selection interface only allows filtering and viewing based on standard fields (e.g., customer name, ID, etc.). Custom fields that have been defined are not available as filter options or visible columns in the selection grid.

    Referring to tickets #1676413, #1498526, #1492633 and #1721382 —

    The Brasseler client is looking to enable multi-factor authentication (MFA) specifically for the admin account. Could you please confirm if this is supported by Optimizely?

    We reviewed the documentation provided for Set up multi-factor authentication, but it appears to apply at the Opti ID level, whereas the client is specifically looking for MFA enforcement at the admin account level and at Admin site. This request has come from their internal security team.

    We would appreciate your guidance on this.

    See also attached picture with Product 648274 as example. 648274 has 12 Cross Sells Products.

    There is no option to set a fixed sort order that would dictate in which order (left to right) those Cross Sells Products would appear on the widget. Such option is on the import/export load sheet, however it does nothing.

  14. On the VMI pages for Configured Commerce anywhere you display “Current QTY” you should also display the “Current Count Date” because it’s confusing to users to see "Current Qty" + "Prev. Count Date," e.g., on the Locations > Products page.

    Problem: Neither the "Product Kit Section Options" widget nor the "Product Bundle Section Options" widget displays the actual quantities of the product components of the kit/bundle - This is not a good customer facing experience. Leveraging Rich Text for Fixed Configuration may be a workaround, however it is not suited for Standard Configuration.

    Solution: Add the set QTY beside each kit/bundle component in both widgets

    Problem: only a product with a deactivation date will ensure end-customer cannot add it to their cart via re-order functionality or saved lists. Our business have multiple websites (1 per country) and often a product that active in more than 1 country ends up being removed from country A, yet still published in country B.

    Solution: have the product category assignment the source of truth. If a product is not published in at least 1 product category in site A, then it cannot be ordered or re-ordered in site A.

    If we were to change this behavior in the future we would be sure to approach in as much of a non-breaking way as possible to prevent issues from customers who currently choose to take orders for non-categorized products.

  18. We need the Optimizely platform to support the following HTTP security response headers:

    -Permissions-Policy

    -Content-Security-Policy

    These headers are essential for instructing browsers on how to handle website content securely. They enhance overall security by enforcing specific rules, such as preventing cross-site scripting (XSS) and clickjacking attacks.

    Our cybersecurity provider is now requiring that these policies be implemented on all public-facing web servers. As such, support for these headers is a critical requirement moving forward.

    Please advise on the platform’s capability to support and configure these headers.

  19. As a marketer on Hero Tools, I would like to publish a marketing list with discounted products to several markets.

    Currently, the list "Name", "Shared By" and "Description" fields cannot be translated. This means a list of discounted products for the Norwegian and Swedish market would need to be two different lists or in English.

    Expected behaviour: List name, shared by and description fields should be translatable.

  20. As a marketer on Hero Tools, I want to add campaign lists to show for all customers.

    Currently, you have to assign all customer(s) to a list in order for it to show.

    I have thousands of customers, and if I want the list to show for all of them, I have to assign them all to the list.

    If no customer is assigned, the list should be shown to all customers.

    I understand the current concern being that it can be too difficult to maintain the customers assigned especially when 'all' customers should be assigned and encourage others to vote and support improvements to this feature.


    Importing Customers is another means currently available which can be used today in situations where there are a large number of customers to assign to a various list:

    1. Navigate to Marketing -> Lists
    2. Click on "import" icon (located on the upper right near the edit options)
    3. Change dropdown from "Lists" to "Customers"
    4. Leverage the "Download Template" to populate and import the desired customers.
