Smooth Deploy for Commerce
As a developer I want the ability to use the Smooth Deploy capability while deploying updates to my Commerce applications. I want the customer experience to remain open with the ability for customers to transact while my deployment is processing, with the ability to test and seamlessly roll back if required.

Allow sorting of catalog nodes
As a product catalog editor I would like to be able to sort catalog nodes, in the same way as I can sort catalog entries (click on Sort Mode.

Implement list properties same way as in CMS
Hello, on CMS there is a feature called "List Properties", explained in the docs here (https://docs.developers.optimizely.com/content-management-system/docs/property-value-list .
It would be useful if the same mechanism was available for products/variants/bundles in Commerce as well.
Currently it is quite confusing that a certain type of property types is available on CMS but not on Commerce.

Support for handling historical order data
There are 30-something order tables which are associated with orders (including line item, payments, addresses etc. Over time these tables grow very large, which affects not only the size of the tables but also the indexes.
Customers that have run Commerce for a couple of years can easily have millions of orders in the system and tens of millions of line items.
A database design where orders created today "compete" with orders that were made 4 years ago is inefficient by nature.

The previous Commerce 13 version allows customization of edit form for Business Foundation objects (contacts, orders, organizations.
User can select which fields are displayed, sort order, and which fields are readonly.
In addition, user should be able to group fields into section.

Ability to Archive products in "All properties" Edit Mode
There appears to be a Usability Issue when needing to archive products/variations within the Connect for Commerce UI on certain type of catalog structures.. see report Jira COM-21799
For example if there is a flat catalog structure and alot of products under few categories/nodes. To archive a product/variation you currently need to be able locate the product under the category/node UI list, though sometimes this list can be hundreds of products long. So it can be verytricky to scroll and find the correct product. And when editing a product in “All properties mode” it is not possible to add it…3 votes -

Templatized Gift Card integration
Want to implement gift card features on our platform without the dev heavy effort of a full custom integration. Can this be a templatized feature so that this capability is more plug and play?

Commerce Connect Catalog Ui - Allow alphanumeric sort setting
The "catalog" tab in the right-hand pane of the CMS should have an associated setting for alphanumeric sort.

Promotion usage report
At the moment there is no way to get a list of orders that used a promotion. It would be very helpful to get a report that showed what was ordered and how much was spent to analyse the effectiveness of a promotion code.

In a buyer/approver setup, there needs to be a way for an approver to be notified via email when a new order is submitted by a buyer and is awaiting approval.

List which campaigns/discounts a product/variant/SKU is included in
Commerce Connect > Edit product/variant
When viewing the All Properties of a product, variant or SKU, it would be useful to show a list of any marketing campaigns/discounts that the item is included in.
This would help a marketer clean up campaigns and reduce the risk of items being added to wrong/multiple campaigns in error.

Make organization list search configurable
A commerce manager wants to be able to search organizations by values in custom fields, when selecting one to the Organization field on a customer contact view (or when selecting a parent organization on a organization view).
Currently the view only shows Name and Type fields, and only searches in those fields. However, I see that it is technically extendable internally.
Even if we can only search on custom fields, but not list them, it would be a start.

Add Custom .NET Event Counters to Commerce
In order for development teams to identify development issues within their implementation they need to be able to see under the hood of their implementation and inspect the qualitative metrics of their implementation.
Additionally, within our production environment, we should have a variety of metrics available to us to diagnose the quality of an implementation. These metrics would help guide our investigation as the
