  1. We often see a lot of errors in the application logs related to bots spamming the website with URL requests that do not even exist, quite often these end in .php extension; example: https://[ConfiguredCommerceURL]/admin/function.php. These seem to be attacks that try to find vulnerabilities on the website. While often times these are harmless, they do pollute the application logs, making it harder for developers to find actual errors that are worth reporting. This feature request is to simply capture that kind of spam requests and simply block them, without processing anything else (these often come with errors such as 'Unity.Exceptions.InvalidRegistrationException'…

  2. You have whitelisted the following Azure libraries but not Azure.Storage.Common:
    1. Azure.Core
    2. Azure.Identity
    3. Azure.Storage.Blobs
Could you please whitelist Azure.Storage.Common as this is a Microsoft .NET native library and we need it to upload files to our Azure storage cloud container.

  3. Is there anything in roadmap for PIM sandbox instance. Playing around live data gets difficult, specially when there are multiple sites. Requested by Mamta Agrawal and seconded by Jeff King on the PIM client cal on 6/1/23. Liked by Laura Mahouney, Ryan Pastor, Amanda Mohr, and Scot Merical.

  4. It would be amazing if we (the Opti customer can customize the promo code error message.
Currently if a customer is outside of the promo parameters (i.e. over the total $ amount, the website says Invalid Promo Code. It isn't invalid, it just doesn't meet the criteria.
A promo code may be expired; therefore, it would be nice to say Promo Code Has Expired.
Invalid Promo code is so deceiving to our customers.

  5. Opti should provide proactive site monitoring to its configured commerce customers. Customer should received an alert from Opti about server errors, hosting issues, site restarts, etc. As hosting provider, Opti should support the platform from this perspective and not be reliant on Partners or the Customers to address these types of errors.

  6. Current Behavior: In Optimizely, products are currently assigned only to the most specific (end-node) category within a 3-level taxonomy.
For example, if the category tree is:

Power Tools > Drills > Cordless Drills

Then a product like a cordless drill is assigned only to the "Cordless Drills" category, and not to "Drills" or "Power Tools".

Problem: This structure causes significant limitations when using the rule engine—specifically the “Product In Category” rule. Since products are not assigned to higher-level categories, those categories cannot be used effectively in rules.

This creates a major pain point when building dynamic catalog restriction groups. Users…

  7. I want to be able to create a custom role for the admin console users that while given limited permissions through the Application Dictionnary would also be granted the ability to impersonate website users. Currently, the impersonate feature is limited to 4 roles: ISCSystem, ISCImplementer, ISCAdmin, ISCUser. Being able to customize the CanCurrentUserImpersonateAnotherUser method used by the AccountController would give more flexibility.

  8. Our punchout customers are requiring us to keep our punchout catalog in a frame within their procurements systems. We have been told that Optimizely does not support this functionality as it causes conflict with their authentication API. We ask that this be reviewed and an update put in place to support framing of the punchout catalog.
The proposed work around was to "pop-out" the catalog. We do have the pop-out solution in place for our customers to access our catalog, but it is putting us in violation of their compliance requirements of our punchout. From one of our customers: "The…

  9. If one product fails in the publish approved products job, it completely shuts down. It should instead just skip that product and lot it as an error vs a fatal error. I have 200k products and if the first one happens to have a duplicate URL, whole job fails. Should have better error handling.

  10. Often when a customer is experiencing an error, we can see some sort of notification within the console describing what API failed it's call, what service timed out, or some other details about the failure.
Typically, the error message includes no identifying information on which user had the error. Meaning that a frequent error could be either 1 user is having an issue 100 times, 100 users having an issue 1 time, or any range in between.
If a website user is logged into our site, and an error is thrown from an action they take, that should be an…

  13. Description: Good morning. This happened a few days ago, but then after Saving my view again, the issue seemed to be fixed. Today, it resurfaced.
I have my current saved View arranged in the following order left to right:
Product Number, Product Title, Brand, Product Type, ProductSubType, Deactivated On, Template Name, URL Segment.
Once my export ran, it arranged the columns in the following order left to right:
Product Number, Product Title, Brand, Product Type, Deactivate On, Template Name, URL Segment, ProductSubType
This has also occurred on another export that has around 100 columns. 3 columns (Box 1 Width, Box…

  14. Hello!
As an E-commerce Manager of a business currently creating a new Online Store using Configured Commerce and OptiPIM I just recently found out that there is no stage-environment for the OptiPIM.
    * Is this in the pipeline to create from Optimizely anytime in the near future?
    * When this is usually best practice to have separate environments for stage vs production I wonder how other business test features when using Configured Commerce and OptiPIM for their online businesses?
As it is now with the new setup with Optimizely we have this:
    * Two separate ERP-systems (one for stage and…

  15. As of early 2024 or late 2023 (not exactly sure which release, a change was made in the PIM Refresh Published to prevent running in any environment other than Sandbox and Production. This causes hardship/extra work for customers and partners to get PIM data into local/dev environments, as every time new data is needed we have to request a sandbox backup, and take a decent amount of time (per developer to update settings, clear PII data, etc. It adds unnecessary effort. I see no reason to prevent pulling into a local environment? And it was done without notification and potentially…

  16. Whitelist this nuget package: https://www.nuget.org/packages/Azure.Security.KeyVault.Secrets
We have a need to leverage AzureKeyVault to pull configuration settings from client Infrastructure, hence the need for it. So if they were to change the secret key on their end, the site will not be impacted as we just pull it directly from the source.

  17. We typically deploy new code to production during off-hours to minimize downtime on our website during our customers business hours. We recently have made a bugfix that requires a code change and a slq database script to be deployed/ran hand-in-hand since doing one but not the other breaks our search. We requested those both to be done at 7am central and were told that while a deploy could be done then a database script was a different team and could only be done 9-5 central which is not when we want to be doing a deployment. We'd like to request…

  18. Admin user (Console user creation via SSO authentication allows us to map email, givenname and familyname but we are not able to map User Name, Company, Position, Phone, Extension, Fax attributes.
Company: We have multiple segments/branches available within our company and we need to be able to map company with segment/branch name.
Position: We need to be able to map admin user role/position
Phone: We need to be able to map admin user's phone number
Extension and Fax attributes: Other user attributes
We understand that currently, only OpenID standard attributes are mapped to Optimizely user attributes. However, OpenID…

  19. Hello Team Optimizely, we are working on the Coveo integration for one of our projects and having Coveo.Connectors.Utilities.PlatformSdk -Version 11.2.0 added to allowedLibraries would be of great help for this integration.
As additional information Coveo.Connectors.Utilities.PlatformSdk (https://www.nuget.org/packages/Coveo.Connectors.Utilities.PlatformSdk/ library allows you to communicate with the Coveo Cloud Platform public APIs and the Push API.

  20. Currently options for selecting a condition to send email notification from a job are:
    * Completion (job ran and could have completed successfully, with errors or warnings or job ran and failed
    * Success Job ran successfully
    * Failure ; Job ran and completed with errors or warnings or job ran and failed
It is not intuitive that Completion includes jobs that failed
