Option to put prod website in Maintenance mode
Authorized DXP Portal users should have a way to put production website in maintenance mode (display maintenance page without needing to deploy.
Example scenarios:
* deploying a code upgrade which will require configurations after deployment but before allowing users to access website.
* If ever there is maintenance on a service that the website requires.
* If ever there is a vulnerability found or an urgent need to make the website unavailable
There should be a way to do this instead of deploying or opening a support ticket every time.1 vote -

Exclude the hostnames in manage websites when using PaaS Portal to copy database and blobs between environments
For CMS customers that need to copy database and blobs using PaaS Portal, the environment-specific web hostnames (Admin > Config tab > Manage Websites become overwritten. Therefore, users wishing to view content in the preproduction system are routed over to production until the admin puts all the pre-production hostnames back into the system.

Log access for slot instances
I would like to be able to troubleshoot slot instances instead of contacting support for the log files. In the log stream you are only able to access the master slots and when appending -slot to the url it says that logging is not enabled for this site/slot.
We had an issue with a block type which had gone from a on page property to a contentarea and a change from string to XhtmlString on one of the blocks props. I thought it was solved when removing the single instance of the block but the on page property was still…1 vote -
Clearing a single URL from the CDN cache
We would like the ability to clear a single URL in the CDN cache. When images and documents are replaced in globalassets it takes up to 12 hours until the correct file is available. While a work around of clearing all the cache is available, that affects our performance.

Paas Portal Microsoft Teams Deployments Cards
EPI Team,
We would like to receive Microsoft Teams deployments cards from the Paas Portal. This is a valuable information for the teams in the field during a release cycle. At date only the person who trigger the deployment receive an email.
1 - Exploration tracks :
The functionality could most probably be mirrored from this "Github Deployments Cards (https://github.com/marketplace/actions/microsoft-teams-deploy-card "
2 - Current cloud possibility at EPI / DXP :
To do this we could use the "Events in the Ms Azure Web App (https://azure.github.io/AppService/2020/05/11/event-grid-integration.html , and configure some Microsoft webhooks in it.

Automate Site Restarts
Currently the only way to restart and environment is via the PaaS portal. It would be nice to be able to automate a restart as the last step of a deployment pipeline from for instance Azure Devops. Perhaps this feature could be added to the EpiCloud powershell module:

Support for Static IP address
When we (as an Optimizely DXP customer expose APIs for partner vendors to invoke, including the Optimizely DXP, we need to ensure that we meet The Group's security standards and one of the many facets to this is IP whitelisting.
This means we don't allow just any IP address to invoke our API. We have a firewall that implements a check on the incoming IP address(es and only allow ones that we know of.
It is a problem if the Optimizely DXP cannot provide us with persistent IP address ranges that we can whitelist on our side. We don't want…3 votes -
Editing Cloudflare's custom error pages in DXP PaaS portal
In case of issues it's not looking good that the signature of error and challenge pages is Cloudflare. Customers want to control all content that could be served to their visitors.
It would be very useful if an DXP administrator could upload or edit the error pages and also be able to toggle a manual editable/uploadable "maintenance page". Both features should be near "live" and don't require code deployment.

Automatic purging of CloudFlare CDN Cache when content are deleted in Episerver
In Episerver DXP we get a CDN from CloudFlare. Great!
If an editor deletes a media file in edit mode, the file can still be cached for hours in the CDN. This could be bad if the content really NEEDS to be removed right away, and the editor is not aware of the CDN cache.
When Episerver controls the entire platform, it should be possible to use the CloudFlare API to automatically purge the cache for items that are either deleted or updated.
I find it surprising that this is not already in place.
The current workaround is to purge…29 votes -
Clear CDN Cache Added To API / Powershell
Common deployment pattern within the DXP when using Azure Devops or another CI/CD system.
* Deploy package
* Clear CDN in Pass Portal
Ideally having to manually login to do this step shouldn't be required.
Can we get the CDN clearing added to https://world.episerver.com/documentation/class-libraries/rest-apis/dxc-service/ and the Powershell so we can add that in to the pipeine.
Also world needs some tags for the DXP / Deployment API41 votes -
Simplify the process of adding domains
As a owner of multiple sites on the same DXP i would like a simpler way to add domains to our DXP. The process of mailing back and forth with the support doesnt feel like a modern solution.
I would like a way where i can add the domain via the management portal.
A suggestion for a process:
1. Add the domain to the portal.
2. Portal returns with the Cloudflare verify TXT and the CNAME.
3. I add theese to my DNS.
4. Portal notices that they are added to DNS and completes the process. (without having to restart…7 votes -
