Ability to reset CMS SaaS environment
It would be great to have a way to completely reset a saas instance. It'd be really helpful to have a clean slate for our current work.

CTAs are not removable when prompting external link or email
When a user:
Configures a CTA to link to an email address (mailto:) or external link
Saves and publishes the item/component
Returns later to edit the same item
…the user is unable to remove the optional CTA/link afterward.
This creates a blocking editing issue where previously configured optional email links become effectively permanent unless overwritten with another value.

Add Export Button to CMS Built-in Reports
CMS has several built-in reports under the Reports tab (Simple Addresses, Expired Pages, Link Status, etc.) that display useful content data, but none of them offer an export option. Users can view the data on screen, but have no way to download it, only copy paste it.
Adding a CSV export button to these reports would be helpful. The data is already being generated and rendered. The Simple Addresses report is a common pain point, as customers regularly need to audit simple addresses across their site and currently have to resort to Graph queries or custom API calls to extract…

Allowable Section Types in an Experience Type
Can we have allowable section types in an Experience Type?
In a large implementation, we can have several components/blocks enabled as 'Sections' so that they can be directly added to the Experience page.
The GraphQL query for an Experience becomes very big as we specify more blocks as 'sections' Can we add a feature where a developer can define 'allowable' sections on an experience, so that the graphQL query that is formed contains only a limited allowable types?

property-level permissions
Ability to set permissions either at the property level or the tab/property group level.
Example scenario: you have SEO fields on a page/experience type that only people in an "SEO Manager" role should be able to modify, while other roles can modify the rest of the page properties/content.

Desktop/Tablet/mobile feature for preview is not available for standard page in visual builder
For content managers and editors, it is essential to have the ability to preview pages across multiple device types. Currently, this functionality is limited to Experience Types only.
This is a significant gap, as standard pages are also being created and previewed within the Visual Builder. Enabling multi-device preview for these pages would greatly enhance the content editing and validation experience for editors and managers.

PaaS Portal - Delete cached content also deletes Graph Cache
There should be a button (or by clicking the CDN-cache purge) that cleares/invalidates the Graph cache.
This is especially useful (necessary) when Graph synchronization fails, as the cache is only cleared upon sync completed.1 vote -
Assign approval workflow only to certain roles in CMS
When setting up approval workflows to publish content, the workflow gets automatically assigned to all roles.
However I only want to apply this review requirement to certian low level roles. I, as a Content Admin, should not have to send my own edits for review and then approve my own changes. It is multiple extra clicks, which is redundant.
When creating an approval workflow, I should have the option to assign it to specific roles. Roles not assigned to should be exempt from the need to send for review.

Update the instance name in the CMS navigation URL
Customers have the ability to manage CMS product details in Admin Center, including the CMS navigation URL - https://support.optimizely.com/hc/en-us/articles/28866325868301-Manage-product-details
However, the instance name in the URL is not customizable from this customer facing feature and would require a some engineering effort. Customers have asked to update their instance names similar to their own naming standards.

Show "Versions" gadget by default
When a new user accesses the CMS for the first time, they must manually add the "Versions" gadget to the UI. Can we have that included by default?

SaaS Warning messages
It would be helpful to content editors if SaaS had a validation option for text or in general where we can chose to show a warning message instead of it always being an error.

Manage app settings/secrets with API
As a developer, I want to automate the creation/update of appsettings/secrets in the DXP portal during deployment. So that I'm sure there are no mistakes introduced.
We typically deploy our code with a pipeline in Azure DevOps. It would be nice if we could also create and update appropriate app and secrets via the Deployment API. To further automate deployments of our releases.
There can also be settings/secrets that are sourced elsewhere, as they are multi-purposed for other applications too. We see that sometimes human interactions for setting up the keys can take awhile (if there are many. Mistakes are…1 vote -
Log access for slot instances
I would like to be able to troubleshoot slot instances instead of contacting support for the log files. In the log stream you are only able to access the master slots and when appending -slot to the url it says that logging is not enabled for this site/slot.
We had an issue with a block type which had gone from a on page property to a contentarea and a change from string to XhtmlString on one of the blocks props. I thought it was solved when removing the single instance of the block but the on page property was still…1 vote -
DXP ability to amend app service access restrictions
To restrict environments by IP requires implementing something via code:
https://docs.developers.optimizely.com/digital-experience-platform/docs/restricting-environment-access
This is cumbersome, especially for IP ranges. In addition it's not possible to restrict/allow by service tag - which we would also like to do.
Our application needs to allow it's own outbound IPs that can change at any time. Relying on a code-based IP restriction means that the site could become unavailable if the outbound IPs change.1 vote -
Customer Feedback on Log Availability & Request for Product Roadmap Update
Hi Opti Team,
We are consistently receiving feedback from our customers expressing dissatisfaction with the current availability of logs within our system.
For context, we recently received the following response from your support team regarding log access:
"As mentioned in the follow up ticket, the CMS system does not handle login information. You can see the last login date in [dbo].[AspNetUsers] if you use AspNetIdentity. If you use another authentication method, you will have to handle it yourself."
This response, while technically accurate, does not provide a practical solution for our customers who require access to log data for various…1 vote -
