Expose Attribution field on CMP assets in Graph (PublicImageAsset / PublicRawFileAsset / Asset)
Building an Optimizely CMS 12 site on Optimizely CMP/DAM. Photo attribution / credit is a hard editorial requirement — public pages must display a byline next to each image.
In Graph, Description is queryable via PublicImageAsset / PublicRawFileAsset, but Attribution is not exposed on any asset type. It is also missing from DAMAssetInfo, so it does not flow through the DAM Maintenance job or the <dam-asset> / RenderTagWithMetadata helpers.
The CMP REST API is not a viable fallback: it is rate-limited, and the official DAM-in-CMS docs recommend against using it in production. A single gallery page can exhaust the quota…

Bulk Sharing Assets in CMP Library
We have the need on a regular basis to share multiple assets at a time to the Organization (all CMP users). The amount of assets each time can vary. Currently, we share an asset by clicking the thumbnail to open the right sidebar, then click Share, enter/select the Org user group, select View Only, then the Share button. This compounds in effort when doing multiple assets. If you select multiple assets, the Share function is no longer available.

Restrict Asset Uploads to Folders Only
The customer would like the ability to prevent users from uploading assets directly to the General Assets page and require all uploads to be made within folders.
Requested Enhancement:
Add a permission or setting that restricts uploads in the General Assets page, allowing users to upload assets only when they are inside a folder.Benefit:

Search For Multiple Assets At Once Using Word, Phrase or Guid
We often need to update multiple assets at once. Asset selection is usually editorial in nature and the filters cannot pull up the assets. I'd like to use guids, separated by comma or space in the search box to pull up exactly what we need to edit.

Version Reordering
When versioning there is no way to reorder the versions. We often have older files we want to add to an asset that are live on the site via the CMS. We want to add the older version underneath the current version, preferably dragging it below the current version.

Description, Alt Text and Attribution is Single Save. Can it Be Muliti Save?
When updating Description, Alt Text and Attribution a user can only update one at a time. If I update 2 or 3 fields I would like them to save at the same time instead of doing it independently of one another.

IPTC Metadata To Populate Corresponding Opti System and Custom Fields
Configure IPTC Caption and certain other fields to flow automatically into the Optimizely proprietary Description and other custom fields.
The setup now means redundant metadata. For example, Description is under image information and also in the IPTC fields below. It would be great if it could populate the corresponding fields upon ingest.
This would be just for photos, not for graphics and other file types.

Searching within the DAM when adding an image in the CMS
Business analyst / Content integrator
We would like additional functionality to browse in the folders of the DAM to find an image. Currently we can only search images in the search bar on the name of the image.
For now this works fine, however when we have more then 4-9 websites about kitchens live. Then the word kitchen will show a lot of the other brands mixed in the results. This will make choosing an image more error prone.
So to make the DAM more future proof a folder selection of the brand would be great.

library standard fields
We currently are limited with setting "Library Standard Fields" within the Library (DAM). We have a taxonomy that is made of several field groups / labels but they are manual to add them. A much better experience would be to have the ability to set our own Standard Fields to include others within our taxonomy.

Collections: Select assets by folder or sub-folder
When creating or editing a collection, allow to select what assets you would like by folders and sub-folder not just by selecting images. Currently only 100 images can be added at a time. When you have 6,000 images to add to a collection, this is not an efficient process. Collection would run in the background while you work and you can be notified when collection has had all assets loaded.

Enable Drag-and-Drop Folder Navigation and Asset Relocation After Bulk Upload
When users perform a bulk upload of assets into the DAM, they typically upload all files into a single, temporary folder (e.g., “Bulk Upload”). Afterward, users need to organize these assets into their proper folders within the DAM catalog structure.

Enforce DAM Mandatory Fields when Publishing Assets from Tasks/Campaigns
Problem:
Direct DAM uploads enforce mandatory metadata fields, but clicking "Send to Library" from a Task, Campaign, or Work Request bypasses these rules, resulting in untagged assets in the Library.Solution:
Apply the same mandatory field validation to assets published from workspace containers. If mandatory tags are missing, a pop-up modal should prompt the user to fill them in before the asset can be sent to the Library.Impact:

Video File Previews
Although JPGs or GIFs successfully display preview thumbnail images, all video files simply show up as blank red boxes. Can you please make a feature which at least enables you to assign your own thumbnail preview image to a file if the system won't automatically generate one?

Library mandatory fields
Today when uploading new assets I can set custom fields to be mandatory. But important standard fields like Title, Alt text etc cannot be set as mandatory.

Being able to leveage Cloudflare Image optimization
As a Solution Architect, I aim to deliver the best possible solution and ensure a new build performs well against metrics such as Google Lighthouse.
When building a PaaS solution that hosts images within the DAM, I can use Cloudflare image resizing to deliver this feature, but I later learned that this feature isn't available for SaaS solutions.
I want to deliver images that exactly match the image container on the page and support different aspect ratios for different devices without requiring the user to choose multiple images.

Expose FocalPoint per Rendition in Optimizely Graph
Optimizely CMP now supports setting a focal point on a per‑rendition basis, but this data is not currently available when querying assets via Optimizely Graph. As a result, consuming applications cannot apply the intended focal point for different rendition sizes.
