Hello - it would be great if linked tasks could automatically carry over from the request stage level and appear as "related".

For example - when a new request is added to the request board, we sometimes link to ongoing existing tasks and create a new separate task with a workflow to match the request needs (rather than manually adding steps to the existing linked task). This results in 2 tasks - 1 for the newly created task (which will be "related" to the work request automatically) and 1 for the existing task (which will also be related to the work request as long as I'm manually linking this)

Manually linking the new task to the existing task isn't terrible, it's just an extra step to make sure all the related items are linked properly for quick finding for the project teams.

What I'm suggesting is to find a way for the existing task to be "related" to the new task automatically.
