Mobile app scanning - autoscan when barcode or qr code is found by the device.
We are gaining traction with VMI and app scanning in general. Other competitor apps will auto scan when the device finds a barcode or qr code. Our app only allows for scanning when the button is hit. This is a worse UX and shouldn't be terrible difficult to improve.

I can confirm that the current design was intentional to prevent scanning from triggering when it should not especially for use cases where there are numerous barcodes to select from in close proximity.
If we implement something to allow autoscan it would likely include a setting that could be optionally enabled to ensure that it does not cause any breaking changes to existing workflows.
We have added this item to our backlog for future consideration and prioritization.
