Duplicate a flow
As a Content Recs administrator, I would like the ability to duplicate a Flow, so that i can save large amounts of time when I want to create Flows that share 90% of their rules.
For example, we have some basic rules that apply to most flows.
Or, sometimes we want to single out content around a single topic, but source it from multiple URLs (see attached screenshot). This is time consuming to set up but okay as a one off. The problem comes when now I want to repeat that setup for a different topic, but the same URLs.…

Content Recs Should Rescan modified content
If I publish a page on my site, the page's content is then read-into Content Recs. However, if I make a change to the content and republish the page, the change is not reflected in content recs. I need to go to the content recs platform and manually trigger a re-import for this page.
Can content recs be updated to consider a 'modified' time? If the content has been modified it should be automatically re-imported.

Opal suggestions for my CMS content
I would love Opal to be able to review my content in my CMS and provide insights into how I can optimise my content to make it most effective for content recommendations:
1. provide what topics would be extracted and what I may need to adjust
2. provide metadata suggestions that could improve my filtering for flows and /or what is show in my recommendations
3. provide some potential filters I could create to utilise the given piece of content1 vote -
Scheduled re-import of indexed content
As a site owner using Content Recommendations,
I would like the ability to schedule re-import of already indexed content in Content Recs,
so that:
a there would be no need for manually triggering a re-scan, e.g. if we add or change metatag or data attributes to pages.
b content that has been unpublished/deleted from the site would be purged from the Content Recs index.
c Images are re-scraped from the source pages - very useful if editors have changed or unpublished the original image since the page was last scraped.1 voteGathering Feedback ·AdminBrittany Butler (Senior Manager, Product Management, Optimizely) responded

Filter Content Based on Moving Date Ranges
We would like to create deliveries that consider content that has been created in the last 'X' amount of time, e.g. content from the last 12 months.
I note, we can already create a flow and rules for dates, e.g. I can set 'Published' greater than '01/01/2024' but that date never moves. I want to be able to set a timespan.1 voteGathering Feedback ·AdminBrittany Butler (Senior Manager, Product Management, Optimizely) responded

Ability to set topics via meta data
We would like the ability to set topics for content from the CMS and have these passed to content recs via meta data fields. This would help ensure that content recs pics up the most relevant topics.
Currently, topics can be added via the content recs UI by editing a content record but this is lost if the page is re-imported.1 voteGathering Feedback ·AdminBrittany Butler (Senior Manager, Product Management, Optimizely) responded

Support for nested logic within Flows
As a CR admin, when i want to set up a Flow with some consistent rules but 1 or 2 properties that might be different, I currently have to repeat the consistent rules multiple times (see screenshot).
It would save a lot of time, if i was able to nest logic in the following way:
he platform also doesn’t support nested logic (in this case nested OR statements), where you could group conditions like:(Original URL = '/test/' OR '/test2/' OR '/test3/')
AND
(Topic = 'Copper' OR 'Coal')
AND
(CR Available = True)Instead, each combination has to be built…

Key work recommendations specific to the industry I work.
I note that Optimizely is updating its content marketing platform for healthcare and finance. It would make sense to update Content Recommendations in the same way. Attached is an example file of redundant suggestions for our site (vaneck.com.au). Finance-specific Content Recommendations would make sense.
