This feature would give the ability to prevent public links from ever being generated for assets tagged with a specific field value (e.g. "Internal") while other external facing asset would still have public URLs automatically generated.

Currently there is no built-in way to make public link creation conditional on a field value, which means sensitive or internal-only assets can be inadvertently exposed.

Right now, public link creation, both individual generation and the bulk "Add Public Link" action, has no relationship with asset metadata. A custom field can classify an asset as internal, but it can't stop a link from being generated on upload or in bulk.
