Autocomplete when using Commerce Search v3
With Commerce Search V3, Autocomplete currently does not provide suggestions for specific products or website content. Autocomplete should absolutely display products, at a minimum. However, displaying content pages is important too; as it is, users cannot search content at all with V3 without customization.

In HVAC B2B, part number search isn't a nice-to-have — it's the primary way our customers find products. Autocomplete that surfaces results as you type is both current expected behavior and the fastest path to what they need.
Disabling or degrading that experience would feel like a regression to our users, regardless of what's improving under the hood.
The upgrade has real value — but the inability to surface products and content in search is a critical gap, not a minor one. That gap introduces meaningful risk that has to be weighed against the benefits before we move forward.
