Summary:

A very common tool within the contracting industry is a Material Takeoff Sheet, which is essentially a list of materials for a specific job.

It would be really useful to be able to print out a Takeoff Sheet from the products within a list. Since the formatting of a Takeoff Sheet is not standardized across the industry, the output of the Takeoff Sheet should ideally be configurable via an Email Template.

The addition of this feature would have broad impacts across many customers in the distribution space whose customers are contractors or estimators.

Proposed Requirements/Functionality:

• Add a new print option to the List print interface called Takeoff Sheet
• When this option is selected, expose a numerical parameter for Number of Copies, defaulting to 1. This will be used to duplicate the sheet X number of times when it is emailed to the requestor (use case: multiple sheets for a set of jobs using the same materials)
• Make the contents of the Takeoff Sheet editable in HTML via an Email Template
• Expose the following variables to use for customizing in the Email Template. This would enable clients to be able to choose which fields are included in the printout.

• When the user prints a Takeoff Sheet, it would be emailed to them the same way that list labels are in the current functionality.
