Optimizely DAM allows users to export asset metadata to CSV/Excel, but there is no self-service way to update that metadata and reimport it. We were advised that bulk metadata updates require assistance from an Optimizely Success team member.

This functionality should be available to users with the appropriate permissions. If metadata can be exported, users should be able to edit the file and reimport it to update existing assets in bulk.

Providing a self-service metadata import capability would:

Reduce reliance on Optimizely support resources.
Improve operational efficiency.
Enable faster metadata governance and cleanup efforts.
Improve asset searchability and discoverability at scale.

This is a common administrative function for enterprise DAM platforms and would significantly improve the user experience for managing large asset libraries.
