Response to Sara from David Robbins:
In general, we do not want to have an order created if the count exceeds the Max. However, given seasonality, it would be good to be able to turn it on and off based upon the Customer ID.
Questions regarding the flexibility of this type of control:
1. Is this a setting that would be necessary to change based on the Site/Customer/Location? We are trying to build all of our new features to be toggleable. So yes, we would like to be able to switch it on and off by parent or Bill-To.
2. Would there be a time where one location or customer would be allowed to purchase over max where another would not?
I think if we leave the switch at the parent-level (Bill-To) otherwise this could become a maintenance nightmare. This allowability will help us when transferring from normal season to "Busy Season." For BRS the busy season would go from mid-August to January.
I also would like to add that the Opti ID enabled can be switched back so that it looks disabled. It doesn't consistently reflect the true status of the OptiID enabled value in the database. This led to confusiong when trying to determine if or why the OptiID was enabled.
