    Perhaps I'm misunderstanding the requirement.

But why not leverage a "Bucketing Personalization Campaign"?

For the experiments you want to choose that should be prioritized and then the others not evaluated.

    1. You create a personalization campaign. Call it "Bucketing campaign" or whatever you prefer.
    2. You create several pages (activations) that are set to manual.
    3. Within the "experiences" of the "Bucketing campaign" you can decide what the priorities are of those experiences and their audiences
    4. All that "Bucketing campaign" does is activate the AB experiments or campaigns you want based on priority of order.

    See:
    https://docs.developers.optimizely.com/web-experimentation/docs/dynamic-websites?_gl=1*68szdc*_gcl_au*MTM0MjY0MzcxMi4xNzgxMjc5MTgxLjMyNTgwMzMyOC4xNzg0OTEzNDcwLjE3ODQ5MTM0NzAuODk4NTEzNzU5LjE3ODQ5MTM0NzAuMTc4NDkxMzQ3MA..*_ga*NjQwOTQxMDgzLjE3ODEyNzkxODE.*_ga_C7SLJ6HMJ5*czE3ODQ5MTE3MTAkbzQyJGcxJHQxNzg0OTEzNDc5JGo2MCRsMCRoNDk3MDA0NDQ2#manual

Don't get me wrong, this is a "workaround" but does exactly what you need if I'm understanding correctly.

    Hey Alex,

Would love to have a chat with you on this. As the events creation is still possible, just not the 1-off events, as they were used wrongly in a lot of cases.

You are able to re-use events across experiments, are you aware of this? See:
