Category Page will not retain its Resized status

Often, I need to resize the Category Left Hand Pane when categories are expanded. This left-hand pane reverts back to its original size once I've click on a Category to Edit. Could this pane keep the size set?

Content editor can upload files which contains viruses. Could optimizely automatically ensure that files are virus free. Or customer could add own virus scanning method to that process.
