Add a column "ID" to the "Audiences"-overview of a Project (and/or its detailed view)

Hi!

As an Optimizely editor, I would like to be able to see the identifier of audiences in the "Audiences"-overview so that I can copy that value and use it in the query parameters to force/impersonate myself as a specific audience member, which will result in faster development of experiences.

More info: there is no identifier being shown in the overview of audiences, nor the detailed view of the settings of a specific audience. This means we need to use said audience in an experiment and then go to the "API Names"-overview of said experiment to finally find the identifier of said audience. This is quite a hassle just to know the identifier. And we're also using this value in our CMS (using the GET Audiences API) so we need to look up this value quite often for development and verification reasons.

Please add an "Identifier"-column to the "Audiences"-overview that shows the identifier for each audience, and/or to the detailed "Settings"-view of an audience.

Thank you in advance and please let me know if there are any questions!

With the kindest regards,

Matthias

Hey @Guest - happy to share that we've shipped the implementation of this! There is now an available column called "ID" in Audiences and Extensions.

    Hi Jett,

Thank you for the update, nice to hear this can be categorized as an "easy win", I certainly agree :-)

Looking forward to seeing this implemented 🙏

We've added the work needed to be done for this in an "Easy Wins" bucket so we don't have to prioritize it over other full initiatives. Meaning, we can likely get to this sooner than later. Also, I've just bumped up the priority of this!

    Hi Matthias,

Aha is used for internal product folks only. Unfortunately, we're unable to add you as a viewer to the initiatives we have here. Essentially, Experiment List updates will bring additional columns to the experiment list page/dashboard (including IDs), adding flexibility as to what columns a user wants visible or hidden and the order of that column. So, you can think of it as a configurable dashboard to see specific data tied to your experiments.

    Hi Charles,

Thanks for the update! Happy to see this is something that will be implemented :-)

I clicked on the hyperlink you shared but apparently that is behind an authentication wall for which I don't have an account. Do I need to create an account somewhere, or is there someone/somewhere I can request viewing rights? I'm interested to see what else is on the list of updates!

Thanks in advance and with the kindest regards,

    Matthias
