Dismiss notifications automatically

As a CMS user I want my notifications to be removed once they have been marked as read or after a certain length of time left unread So that I can clear my workspace to work more efficiently and without unnecessary distraction. the outcome is the ability to remove or hide notifications within the bell window. Or the ability at the User level to refine/define which items/worflows they wish to receive notifications for.
