I cannot link to a specific timestamp in a YouTube video

Optimizely does something to my links, such that I am unable to link directly to a specific timestamp within a YouTube video.


Example:

For this YouTube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qTiT5GGm4M), I want to link to the 22 minute 0 second timestamp.


YouTube provides functionality as a URL parameter, such that I can link to that spot in the video using the URL with these parameters added:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qTiT5GGm4M&t=22m0s

However, when I put this URL into Optimizely and send an email, the resulting email strips the URL parameters, so that when someone clicks on it, it plays the video from the beginning.

For a while, I was able to use this URL shortener to achieve the same result:
https://t.ly/JLpDI

But now Optimizely is even stripping the URL parameters from THAT link...


This leaves me without any way to link to a specific spot in a Youtube video.


This is essential functionality for me, please advise how I can do this or fix Optimizely so it stops stripping these parameters.
