Default Alignment of Badges

I would like to see a configurable option to control the horizontal alignment of badges within in the widgets. Currently, the default position is horizontally centered. When there is only a single badge, the badge seems to just be floating in space. If it were left aligned, then at least it would be in alignment with the other graphic elements.
