I have updated the status to gathering interest and updated the title to reflect that the ask is wanting a way to mark related products as 'bi-directional' so that they show up on both. Today this would need to be setup on the corresponding product that would be expected to display the products.
Hi Sara,
It shows on the whole good pdp when 'Parts' are associated as related products. The experience I am recommending is bidirectional. The Parts PDP would show 'Whole goods' in a 'Compatible With' carousel.
We have confirmed this feature exists and is working on base (example shown below from Spire but also confirmed as working on Classic front end). We suggest to review at the theme/styling level
Hi Sara,
I tried setting it up using our sandbox but do not see the data populated in the carousel. I imagine it will be a standard carousel but can be built as an accordion or paginated view.

Thank you for submitting this feedback! Today we offer the ability to create more related product sections for a catalog by following steps outlined within - https://support.optimizely.com/hc/en-us/articles/4413191722893-Create-a-related-product-type
Can you review and let me know if there are additional features that would not be covered today by creating a new related product type called "Compatible Parts" and then be able to select when adding an additional product carousel to the PDP?
