Database needs to be made readily available for reporting

Hi - we high a high need to get either ad hoc database access or a regularly scheduled (weekly) database copy to inform our business reporting. Optimally if we could trigger a database download ad hoc, that would also help us when we need to quickly access database records for emergency troubleshooting as well.

Since launch we have struggled with reporting. The canned console reports don't include important custom fields we have added, requiring us to build custom reports and run those jobs, download, and then manually aggregate Order History and Order Lines to enable us to do any longer term analysis, and then load all those files into BigQuery to allow us to do any reporting that ties user to customer to sales or product activity. This requires a high level of effort to simply access our database sufficiently to be able to report to the business.

We should not have to pay for a separate analytics product as a solution to this problem - and the analytics product is very far from being satisfactory for our needs anyway.
