Quoting Feature Improvements

Below are the top requests we have to improve the quoting feature. I’m happy to elaborate on any items that need additional clarification.

  1. Ability to edit quotes without having to start over (our quotes change all the time and are very time consuming to recreate)

  2. Ability to print/save a quote as a pdf (contractors often need to include our quote as part of a larger bid)

  3. Consolidate job quote and quote sections (it’s confusing to have two separate sections)

  4. Ability to view and edit expired quotes (some jobs take years to come to fruition…it would be nice to pull up an old quote and update pricing)

  5. Allow people to add items to quote at checkout (missed opportunity to upsell)

  6. Ability to finish/view quote before deciding to send to customer

    As an additional enhancement, allow us to set custom ranges. Currently when replying to an RFQ, the quantity has to start at one or it errors out. We have several parts where our minimum order quantity is 500 pieces for specific customers. There is no value in quoting 1 - 499. Likewise, we can not set the order increment or MOQ for the part at 500, because some contracts require we ship a quantity of 1 if that is what is required.
