Delete Categories in Bulk

It would be useful and efficient to delete categories in bulk. This functionality should also automatically unassign products from the categories.

    Hi Laura and thanks for the feedback. We have work planned to make it easier to delete large numbers of categories. We will allow you to delete parent categories and their children from the left panel and also add the option to delete selected categories from the category list. Note that we do already have the option to completely delete all categories in a category tree (when deleting the category tree) but this is mostly just used to clear out test data.
