Properties not logically ordered on product page

In PIM, when looking at the product, the property groups and properties appear to be ordered by reverse create date, or something wierd like that. It's not alphabetical either, so not sure what its sorting by. Regardless, you have to scroll down a lot to get to the key items, such as mfr part number and other important attributes. Please add an enhancement to provide a sort value on the properties and/or property groups, for display order within PIM

Thanks Arthur - I wasn't aware of this feature when I logged the suggestion. Nice :)

Hi Scott, thanks for the feedback and sorry for the delay. We do have the capability to adjust the order of properties within groups, and also to adjust the order of property groups for each template.

To adjust the order of properties you can click the reorder button on the properties page where you can drag/drop reorder the properties or move them between groups. If you need to move many between groups it may be easier to use the import to update their group.

To adjust the order of property groups you can edit a product template and drag the property group.

We will look at ways to enhance this capability as it can be a bit tricky with a large number of properties. I will consider the option to add alphabetical sorting and to expose the sort order of the properties for easier editing.
