Variant Product - See child products in Product Dashboard

Would like to be able to see what products are child products in the dashboard without having to go into the Parent Product and using the child product tab. Being able to see parent / child products in the dashboard would almost create a visual "taxonomy" structure. Then to be able to export and make changes if needed.

We looked into the option to display child products nested below parents within the product list but right now this is not possible with our current table component. We have this as a design requirement as we look to replace our current table component. This isn't on our near term roadmap but is under consideration for further out.

Thanks Arthur, this will get me closer to what I need. You are correct, I would like a to be able to see the Parent and all the children below, in a Variant view of some type.

    Hi Mandy,

There is an option to add a "Parent Product" column to the product list. If you sort by this you may get close to what you're looking for, as all the children of the same parent will be together in the list - see the attached image. We are also in early stages of designing an improved table that can better display the parent/child products on the list. Ultimately, we want to display the children directly "under" the parent products which I believe is more in line with what you're looking for.
