Update History and Notifications for Due Date Changes from Smart Durations
When using smart workflow durations, the step due dates get changed any time someone completes a step early, which is expected. But the history tab and the email notifications that accompany the change make it look like the person who completed the step is the person who changed the dates. In reality, it was the smart duration that caused the dates to change. Adjusting the history/notifications to something like "Step completed early. Dates adjusted per Smart Duration" would be beneficial.
