Options to delete content type that is no longer available in code

It would be nice to have some plugin / sch. job that can delete content type that is no longer available in code.

e.g. If i try to delete Digital Banner Blok which is no more available in code it gives me this error "Cannot delete the content type "Digital Banner Blok" because it is in use:" and the list contains 40-50 entries.

It would require a lot of time just to delete single block as of now. So hope Optimizely find a solution to do it more smoothly
