Storing Abandoned Cart Data so you can access Historical Data in Analytics

I just recently discovered that because commerce analytics is using a direct connection to my order history and that because the default for saving expired carts is 90days, that I can not longer access abandoned cart data in Opti Analytics for further back than 90 days.

This is pretty disappointing since We pay a lot of money to use the analtyics tool. with the main purpose being that we can compare historical data and view and measure change over time.

I was already disappointed in the analytics tools because it doesn't really work that well, the assistance for getting it set-up is non existant and the guides given to troubleshoot don't help.

I understand why the it's tied directly to my order history, but I feel like there needs to be a way to save abandoned cart info for more than the time period expired carts are saved. I've now lost 9 months of date, which includes the time of us launching the site. So we now have no way to compare or look back to see if we are improving or not.
