Default values
CMP seems to only shows a custom field once an asset has a value for it, and there's no way to set a schema-level default — so every asset created before an app is installed permanently shows no field until something writes to it.
I have a custom checkbox field with simple options/values for 'yes' and 'no'... but the field itself is not presented until an editor adds it. So if I want the editor to select their preference, they need to add the field then set the value every time.
If I could set the default value to 'no'…

Live updates on the asset panel
We are using webhooks to update certain fields in assets. However, these do not get reflected in the asset - or anywhere in the UI - until the user reloads the page. This is causing a number of issues for editors who are working with assets but not seeing the most current meta data.
My preference would be to allow the UI elements to update without a page reload.
Failing this, please introduce some sort of modal/pop-up to indicate when there are changes available

An extensibility point for actions on the asset screen
I'm developing an integration with Canva and the CMP but there is no way to customize the UI in CMP.
Feature request: a supported way for a third-party app to register an action/button on the asset screen, distinct from custom metadata fields.

Customer needs other business units in the company who do not use CMP to submit work requests. Allow for email to be captured through SSO, and for users to be able to submit a form using a Public URL. Recipients are then notified through Email notifications.

Fields usage report
For the across organization consistency, alignment and accuracy maintaining fields is a must have. To make it possible I should be able to pull the report with the information:
- field name
- field values / entries
- field status (active/not active)
- creation date
- last modified (date)
- last used (date)
- no of usage
- used in templates (templates' names)
- used in records (records IDs)

Scalable Bulk Metadata Updates — Increase UI Limit or Enable File-Based Import
1) Current Limitation: The DAM/CMP Library UI restricts bulk metadata edits to a maximum of 100 assets at a time. There is also no native way to update metadata on existing assets via bulk update either through file-based import using unique asset identifiers or the UI.
Use Case: Organizations managing large catalogues (100K+ assets) need to update metadata across thousands of assets for integration triggers, seasonal updates, data corrections, or onboarding. Fields types to show up on Event in Calendar
More field types (at least text based ones) to show up on Event in Calendar. Currently just shows Labels when hovering over it. This has been requested by clients for strategic calendars where fields are highly relevant.

Copy tasks and milestones in nested campaigns
Users are unable to copy tasks and milestones under sub-campaigns over when the top level parent campaign is copied.
Can a product enhancement be made to enable nested campaign activities to be copied, as currently it only works for flat campaigns where the tasks and milestones sit directly under the parent campaign.

Proposal to Update Default Watcher Assignment in Workflows
Current Challenge:
The current workflow automatically assigns all participants as watchers on every task. This approach results in excessive and often irrelevant notifications, creating unnecessary noise and reducing overall efficiency.
Proposed Change:
Update the default behavior so that no watchers are automatically assigned to tasks. Instead, individuals can opt in by adding themselves as watchers for tasks they wish to monitor.
Result:
Reduce notification overload for team members.
Improve focus by ensuring only relevant updates are received.

Ability to highlight the size and importance of a task
It would be helpful to have a default field in work request forms/briefs that encourage the user to highlight the size of a task (small, medium, large) and also express whether urgency is high, medium or low.

CMP: Multiple Assignees for Tasks
Allow more than one person to be assigned to a task (currently limited to 1 person or 1 team). This flexibility, already available in Requests, would help manage collaborative work more effectively.

Add more content/context to email notifications about comments
Idea: Include parent comment context in notification emails.
Email notifications for comment replies currently only display the new reply text and the generic task/asset name. Recipients lack the context of the original parent comment being replied to. Including the parent comment thread in the notification email body would provide necessary reference without forcing the user to log into the platform. You already have the "or you can reply to this email", which we'd like to use - but we can't without more content/context being added about the notification.

I don’t want to change the global folder by default. I want to be able to select the folder which is right for the assists for a specific need, on a case by case basis.
Eg: Sometimes I may want general Images, which are in a certain folder. Other times I will want branded assets which are stored in another folder. Other time I might want to find campaign specific assets which are in another folder.
