  1. Tagging a user in a proofing comment triggers an immediate email alert. If the reviewer immediately edits or updates that comment, the recipient has already received the initial, potentially incomplete notification. Holding or batching these alerts until the reviewer explicitly finishes a session (e.g., by clicking a "Done" button) would prevent premature or outdated notifications.
This is primarily to help folks who check and reply comments via email a lot.

  2. Just like Slack and Teams have integration options with CMP, we'd like Zoom to be an available integration so users can more easily get notifications/task updates in whatever format works best for them. Like this: https://support.optimizely.com/hc/en-us/articles/8184600806029-Integrate-Slack

  3. We are having an issue with important replies to comments being missed because we do not receive notifications unless we're directly tagged (unless you created the original comment). However, ideally, we'd like to be able to receive notifications as long as we've been a part of the comment thread at some point or even as a person with whom the task has been shared. See attached screenshot for how problematic this could be.

Solution 1: add a checkbox/opt-in within CMP notification settings to get notified when someone replies to a comment thread in which you've interacted (commented, been tagged, etc.).

  4. Hi! We are encountering an issue related to notifications. See example screenshot for reference, but in short, people who are present on comment threads do not get notifications if they are not tagged (unless they started the comment chain). We've checked settings and there is not an option to select to always receive notifications about comments/replies for chains on which you're mentioned.

So our request is that there be a notifications setting that allows people to opt in to receiving notifications in comment threads they've been mentioned on, even when a reply doesn't specifically tag them.

    Additionally, we'd like to…

  5. It would be great for users to be able to customise their view to make Monday the first day of the working week by default (and or the option to hide weekends from the calendar). This would help to avoid accidentally scheduling work on Sundays.

  6. Can Optimizely disable requestors’ ability to edit the “Priority” field present in all intake forms? It is impacting our ability to accurately assess the pipeline, as some jobs have their priority level heightened by the requester simply to speed them up.

  8. In a workflow, it would be useful to have the option to set the status of an approval step in a workflow as Rejected and be able to proceed with the task.

Right now, the only option is to mark the step as approved even when the content in the task would be rejected, which is very confusing.

  9. When using the ‘assignee’ filter, it would be nice if we could filter by team entities as well as individual users.

As an example, a lot of our steps are automatically assigned to the ‘Web Team’. This works by anyone in that team completing the step when free. As a result, this means they do not get pulled through into this data, as the team is assigned to the step and not the user.

Ideally, if filtering a team with 'assignee', it would be great if that pulled through the data of everyone in that team's completed steps and/or grouped…

  10. We are receiving frequent feedback from reviewers that the end/due date currently shown reflects the overall workflow or project completion, not the deadline for their individual review task.

For reviewers, the most effective way to prioritize work is by clearly seeing their own task due date, rather than the final project deadline. Because this distinction isn’t visible today, reviewers often don’t realize that their specific task is overdue, even though the workflow is still active.

Adding a dedicated column that easily displays each reviewer’s task-level due date, with the ability to sort by that date, would significantly improve clarity, prioritization,…

  11. Issue:
When looking at renditions, the sort order defaults to the date created, which is kind of unintuitive, because a rendition is an automatically generated so who knows when it was created.

    Suggestion:
I would like the system to remember the last sort order applied to renditions for the next time, or to have a setting which allows a user to set their preference.

From a simplicity point of view, however, it would solve my problem to just change the default to sort by rendition name, and allow people to choose date in the (my opinion) unlikely event that they…

  12. Improve conditional logic in request templates. Currently, options are limited to “jump” or “show,” but we need more advanced conditions (e.g., “if X, show Y, then jump/proceed to Z”) to design templates more effectively and handle complex workflows.

  14. Customer is working with Tasks originating from Requests. Often the content writers cannot execute the tasks, they archive them. In this case the Request does cannot get Completed and cannot be Declined since there is a task already. The customer is looking for a solution to keep the task and cancel/decline the request.

  15. When a user inserts a hyperlink in the CMP rich-text editor (within task briefs, content tabs, hypotheses, or campaign descriptions), each link defaults to opening in the current window, and any override must be applied manually on a link-by-link basis.

    This creates several pain points:

    • Users navigating CMP tasks or campaigns can lose their place when a link opens in the same tab, interrupting their workflow.
    • Teams must individually remember and configure the "open in new window" option every time a link is added

We'd like to request the addition of a global default setting — configurable at the instance…

  16. Currently, when a user submits a request, the only available actions are Accept or Decline. This creates a gap in the workflow because there is no way to indicate that a request has been accepted but is still being evaluated or queued for setup.

We need an additional status, such as “Review” or “In Review,” that can be applied after a request is submitted. This status should be visible to both internal users and the requestor, so the requestor understands that their submission is actively being reviewed and has not been ignored.

From an internal workflow perspective, this status would…

  17. For the across organization consistency, alignment and accuracy maintaining fields is a must have. To make it possible I should be able to pull the report with the information:
    - field name
    - field values / entries
    - field status (active/not active)
    - creation date
    - last modified (date)
    - last used (date)
    - no of usage
    - used in templates (templates' names)
    - used in records (records IDs)
I should be able to pull this report for at leas 6 months date range.

  18. The system prompts for confirmation every time a date or time is changed, adding unnecessary clicks and time to the process. This may seem small, but it adds up significantly when you have 80+ steps in a workflow AND times are required for every task. Our teams are being delayed daily by this requirement.

  19. Adding a subtask for the same day requires being careful that its due time is not earlier than the preceding task's time, or the system will reject it and cause more manual work to fix.
This would be solved if time wasn't required. But we're open to other solutions.

  20. In the plan view especially it would be great to have a countdown field for sorting and filtering which tracks the days to a campaigns due date. Currently we track "Days to due date" manually so it would be ideal to automate this in the platform.
